The NSF Engineering Research Center for IoT4Ag was established on September 1, 2020, with a focus on precision agriculture. The program unites multiple universities and partners to advance IoT technologies aimed at optimizing agricultural practices through data-driven models, sensors, robotics, and communication systems. A key goal is to train a diverse workforce to address global challenges related to food, energy, and water security. IoT4Ag integrates research, workforce development, and innovation to support long-term agricultural sustainability.
